Himalayan Ride for Shelter
In August 2022, an enthusiastic group of Royal LePage professionals will journey to India to motorcycle for 13 days across the majestic and rugged Himalayas!
During their adventure, participants will ride through pine forests, snow capped mountains and red rocky landscapes reminiscent of Star Wars! They will be riding some of the most scenic and breathtaking roads as well as the Khardung La Pass, reputed to be the highest motorable road in the world at 5,380m (same height as Everest Base Camp). Days will be long for both body and mind and there will be few comforts of home available. While it won’t be easy, participants will have an epic ride led by professional guides and locals, experience a beautiful culture, and - most importantly - raise critical funds for our cause!
Every dollar raised will support courageous women and children in finding safety and building lives free from abuse. To participate, each rider must raise at least $1,000 in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation which will fund their local Violence Against Women shelter as well as domestic violence prevention programs across the country.
Donate by clicking "Find a Team/Participant" on the right side bar and searching for the rider you wish to support. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation issues tax receipts in February for all donations of $20+ made in the previous calendar year.
